Q: How do you plan on taking off your pregnancy weight?
A: 
The same way I took of my weight in the first place. Weight Watchers. Plain and simple. It is something I found that works for me. Some people can lose weight on Adkins or just by hitting the gym. Me? I need structure. I am sure just simply counting calories would do the trick for me as well, but I understand the Weight Watchers Points System. It's easy to wrap my brain around, so I don't plan to stray.

Q: Why the website?
A:
This website.. the blog especially, is my release. Who wouldn't want to yack about themself all the time?! :) no really.. if my journey can help someone else, then I am all for it. If I find a tip, trick or food find, why would I keep that to myself? I'd rather inspire and help others if possible. In the mean time, I am my own inspiration. It's a win win, people! 

Q: Do you have to eat their food?
A:
"Their" meaning Weight Watchers.. No, WW gives you the tools to eat whatever you want. Portion   control is the key. Also, WW requires you to eat a certain number of fruits and veggies along with water and dairy. Following the plan can be easier for some people if you eat WW frozen meals and snack bars for the built in portion control. I keep my freezer stocked with Smart Ones, but do I have to eat them to lose weight, no. I eat whatever I want, with in reason.

Q: How do you maintain self-control?
A:
Truth is.. its not easy. I am very hard on myself, but I do give in to my temptations more than you would guess. But, I get back on track the very next bite. Sure I splurge.. I try to allow myself to have two meals a week where I eat whatever I want. I plan this out before the week even starts though. If I know I am going out Friday night, I stick to the plan and exercise all week long saving up for Friday night. WW treats food like money, if you ask me. I have a budget, if I want those expensive shoes I have to save up for them. This concept keeps me on track all week.

Q: Do you really exercise?
A:
I sure try to, but I'm no marathon runner or anything. It all boils down to food for me. The more I exercise, the more I can eat! :) I started out doing robotics at
Tan & Tone America a couple times a week or walk my dog for 2 miles every other night. In January 2009, I started going to an all women's gym with a friend of mine. I do 30 minutes of cardio and 30-45 minutes of weight training 3-4 times a week. When I can't go to the gym I try to do crunches, push-ups, or take my dog for a 30 minute walk/jog. [update: During pregnancy, I try to walk 30 minutes at least 3 times a week and throw in prenatal yoga a couple times a week in the mornings.]
